Attica Jailhouse : Baltimore Pirates Fitted

Here is the latest fitted creation from Attica Jailhouse in the form of the Baltimore Pirates. The Baltimore Pirates, later known as the Silver Moons, was one of many independent Negro baseball teams playing throughout the East Coast back in the early 30's. Below is a custom Pirates, black wool fitted cap with screened felt sewn patch. The skull and bone along with black / old gold combo makes this a classic that represents one of Negro league baseball's most memorable semipro squads!

Attica Jailhouse Caps

Featured here on UA for the first time, Attica Jailhouse is a unique project and business that customizes unbranded fitted caps with hand cut or sewn vintage patches. Some of the patches date back to the 50's while some are hand cut or screened, adding passion to craft and sport history. The majority of the caps are generic wool blank fitteds however Estate LA has supported Attica with their fitted cut and mold shape. Below is a selection Attica’s custom hockey caps starting with vintage Vancouver Canucks. The Vancouver Canucks are a well-established ice hockey team since the 1940’s, which expanded into the NHL in 1970. These two caps feature a screened felt patch of the Canucks first logo, which represents a hockey stick in a rounded-edge box that could also be seen as a stylized C. Aside from the front embellishments, the first cap features contrast, green, felt front panels and eyelets while the second cap has top piping and white button. Each cap is now available via email for $40 a piece. Stay posted for the official Attica Jailhouse on-line site coming early 2009.
